Kam equipment IMHO is purely aimed at the bedroom D.J regardless of any professional tag which is attached to it. In my time as a distributor I was concerned about the number of customer returns I was seeing. I have also owned one of their Mixers and a Dual CD Player - both of which were resigned to a skip shortly after the warranty period had elapsed.
Kam Mobilepro Professional Dj Mixer
i have had a kam mobile pro for a while, it got used evry day for 2 years and now sits in the garage just for discos (i have soundcraft in my bedroom) i dont like the way it feels and want a much better mixer but it has served me well and will continue to do so, kam are ok but dont compare them to anything better!
For instance, when connecting a device like a CDJ or controller to a DJ Mixer, you want the CDJ outputs sending audio to your mixer inputs for their respective channels. On a standard DJ mixer, your MASTER, BOOTH, and REC OUT will be your outputs while your channel ports will be your inputs.
RCA is one of the most ubiquitous cable formats in audio gear. Developed in the 1940s, it has remained largely unchanged since and continues to be one of the standard cables for linking audio components. This cable is used for everything from CDJs to mixers to main outputs to stereo systems.
RCA cables can also be used for S/PDIF or Digital Outputs although a specific cable (75ohm cable) is supposed to give the best results. This is most commonly seen in higher end Pioneer CDJs and Nexus mixers.
VirtualDJ is a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) and virtual mixer software for DJs. It can be used to curate and edit songs and playlists for events, and is filled to the brim with different layouts, modes, live streaming features, and personalization options. Similar to music software like Serato or Ableton, Virtual DJ narrows the space between music and audience, leaving the DJ all the necessary tools to fill the gap.
Similar to Ableton, VirtualDJ prioritizes professionally live streaming music (thus the name) over composition and recording. For would-be composers and arrangers, there are more efficient options, such as FL Studio or Cubase. While it may not be immediately intuitive, VirtualDJ also has an event schedule option that assists in synchronizing music, videos, and images. This impressive array of visuals enhances the performance experience, furthering creative control beyond just tweaking and modifying audio tracks on the spot.
Still, considering these drawbacks, VirtualDJ is an outstanding gateway DAW for any beginner DJ or arranger. With enough time the program (and a subscription to one of the paid tiers) can definitely be used professionally. 2ff7e9595c
